Starwars: Vanguard Class Cruiser

While looking around the internet, I stumbled accros a bit of concept art for the Acclamator class from Star Wars Attack of the Clone. I quite liked the design, though it didn't quite match the design language for Star wars' larger ships, I felt the prominent guns and engines would suit a smaller design quite well. Something of a beefier cousin to the Arquitens class. A small and very focoused escort ship designed to punch above its weight. The ship has almost no utility features; a miniscule hangar bay, no atmospheric capability, and cramped quarters. Instead, it features a sleek and armored frame with a lot more firepower then would be expected of a ship of this size.

The vanguard's turret arrangement is unusually optimized for Star Wars ships. Providing strong arcs of fire over the entire dorsal section. Though this came at the cost of the spacious superstructures present on most larger ships.

Though the vanguard is equipped with a hangar, at 19m widest, it is only really useful for storing small personnel transports
